Bridge Day 2006

Charlie, Nancy, Keith, and Natasha attended Bridge Day in Fayetteville, WV on October 21st. They had a blast spending the day walking across the world's 2nd largest singe arch bridge, watching the crazy BASE jumpers (look closely in the 2nd picture and you can see one), and enjoying the mountains. Keith and Nancy had no fear and decided to do the high-line off the bridge. Charlie and Natasha thought they had lost their mind, but supported their efforts and met them at the bottom of the bridge (after a LONG hike). It was a wonderful afternoon for the festivities and at the end of the day Natasha's Grandma had a great meal waiting on the table for them. Oh yeah, we tried to get someone to take a group picture of the four of us and needless to say we got a picture of our shoes in return, can you tell who is who?? Fun times in the wild and wonderful West Virginia!!

Fall in Love with Virginia

Keith and Natasha never appreciated the season "Fall" until their recent move to Virginia. Now, they are surrounded by mountains with lots of trees. The leaves on the trees are changing colors and it is absolutely beautiful! Natasha spotted an old Oak tree with it's leaves changing colors near downtown Blacksburg and stopped off to take a picture of it. Isn't it beautiful?!? The second picture is of the drive up Rhea Ridge Drive...yes, it is breathtaking this time of year as well! And, lastly Keith and Natasha are leaving you with another picture, again taken from Rhea Ridge Drive that shows the mountain line. How could you not love Fall and the state of Virginia??
