Alittle R & R

Alittle R & R, where it doesn't stand for Rest and Relaxation, but Rest and Rodents!! Keith and Natasha recently bought a hammock to hang in their backyard, as those of you who have been up to the house know that their yard is perfect for a hammock, well it is obviously perfect for rodents too!! Natasha came home today to find a groundhog in the flowerbed then it casually walked over to the blueberry bush! She started taking pictures until the rodent decided to chew through the mesh fencing and proceed to get ready to eat the blueberries!! Natasha banged on the window, as she must admit that she was too scared to go out and chase it. Keith wasn't home from work yet either! When he got home he said, "But, honey, I thought you loved groundhogs and remember, you think they are SO cute".....She replied, "They aren't too damn cute when they are eating your flowers and berries"......Oh the life of having a home in the woods......

Without The Husband

Keith was away this past week for a couple of days on business. Natasha's father and Grandma came up to stay with her and the animals. As you can see, when the husband leaves, the wife and animals play. Natasha had a great time with her Dad and Granny, as did Piper. Piper ate lots of breadsticks and pizza, while enjoying a Sunkist! Natasha enjoyed wearing her Dad's workboots around, while teaching her Granny how to take a picture - Fun times! Someone asked Natasha, "How's married life?"....she replied "Fantastic, I get married and my husband leaves for a couple of days, what more could I ask for!?!"....All in all, she missed him a TON, as did Piper, even though Grandpa spoiled her!!

Day and Night in Brush Mountain

This past weekend Keith and Natasha were finishing up their wedding plans. As they were working on their seating chart for the reception, they glanced out the window to find 10 deer in their yard - YES, 10 deer at once! It was pretty crazy, it was a like deer sanctuary! They kept a close eye on the deer to ensure their flowers and garden were not providing a buffet to the deer! After a long night they decided to go out on their front porch to enjoy a breath of fresh mountain air and a glass of wine; the moon was incredible that night!

This is what life is about here in Brush Mountain Estates...
