Rest & Relaxation at the BEACH

October 19 till October 23 - Charlie and Nancy enjoyed R & R in Myrtle Beach.

They met Rosina (Natasha's mom) at Villa Roma for dinner. They also got to visit with Fran, Ronaldo and Laney while enjoying a delicious meal. It was nice to see Natasha's relatives.

Time was spent walking on the beach searching for sharks teeth. After talking with some experienced hunters, Nancy said next time we will be prepared with the equipment needed to find the large fossil teeth.

The weather was beautiful - in the high 70's and low 80's. The ocean water was 72 degrees.

We Love Fall...

Keith and Natasha love this time of year, as there is nothing like Fall in Blacksburg. They recently went to the pumpkin patch in search of the perfect pumpkin. The pumpkins weighed so much that they needed a wheel barrel to carry them.

Soccer Time!

Owen has had a fun time with Soccer this Fall. Tomorrow is his last game. Then it's on to Basketball!

The house was a bit resistant to the backhoe and tried her darnedest to hang on, but in the end the backhoe won and now it is just a memory.

Time flys

Sunday October 7th. Wow, can you believe it is October already. I apoligize for not putting any postings on our blog. Today, most of the Holt's gathered at Mom and Dad's to celebrate their 62nd wedding anniversary. Nancy made pepperoni cheese bread, cheese bread, texas sheet cake, peanut butter fudge and Italian Sausage in Angel Hair pasta. We ordered Sam's pizza and made homemade ice cream. Mike, his boys, Jackson and Owen played frizbie football with a group of people from the Mennonite Church. Andrea and Todd are expecting, they are 12 weeks along and their due date is March 30th. Grandpa says we need a girl, he said he dreamed it is a girl. Tomorrow, the farm house if going to get bulldozed. It will soon be a year since the fire. Charlie and I went to the last half of Owen's soccer game on Saturday. Next Saturday I will watch Jackson play flag football, their games are at the same time. I hope everyones football team did good this week. Smithies and Browns lost. Go Tribe and Cubs.
