California Dreamin'

Thanks to a wonderful Mother and Father, Michael and I got to go to California for a week with no kids....a second honeymoon of sorts :-) We stayed in Anaheim for the ELKS Convention for most of the time. Took a side trip to Disneyland, went to Hollywood and spent a night at the beach! since I met Harrison Ford a few years ago, I did get my picture taken with his Star on Hollywood Blvd. Enjoy the pictures and the next post about what the kids did while we were gone....I guess they wore Nana & Papa out!!

A week with Jackson & Owen

Ammey and Michael went to California for an Elks convention so Jackson and Owen stayed with Nana and Papa. During that time Jackson had 6 baseball games. His team finished in third place and Jackson was all smiles when he was presented with a trophy.

Nana wanted to spend some time with the boys so she took Thursday and Friday vacation days. On Thursday we spent the day at Kennywood Park in Pennsylvania. Jackson and Owen had a wonderful time riding the Log ride and even got Nana to ride it with them once. Jackson rode Phantom Revenge 3 times by himself.

On Friday afternoon with two vehicles packed with camping gear we headed for Whispering Hills for two nights of tent camping. We did bring some comforts of home with our queen sized raised Air beds and the campground has a restaurant so Nana did not have to cook all the meals. Nana couldn't get Owen to stay at the campsite long enough to get a picture of both boys. LOL.
