A long weekend on the mountain

On Thursday July 23rd Nancy and Charlie went to Virginia for a long weekend. Natasha had a seminar in Chicago, she was leaving on Friday and returning late Saturday. It was so nice to spend some time with Easton and Keith. He has grown so much since we saw him in May. He is now eating green beans and bananas from a spoon and we got more in his mouth than we did on him. Easton missed his Mommy as much as she missed her little boy.

VACATION 2009

This year the McNally's spent vacation in Northern Ohio at the Islands!! What a relaxing, fun vacation!!

A day at Put-In-Bay

On Sunday, Charlie and Nancy took Ammey to join her boys at their vacation location in Port Clinton. We decided to spend the day at Put-In-Bay. We walked to the Jet Express and 20 minutes later we arrived at Put-In-Bay. After we had our lunch we went to the Perry Monument. Owen was reluctent to go up in the monument but soon conquered his fear of height and enjoyed the view from the top of the monument.

Facts about the monument:

This monument, at 352 feet, is the third tellest in the entire U. S. National Park system. The only ones taller are the Washington Monument and the Gateway Arch in St. Louis.

It is JULY already?

Wow, I can hardly believe it is July 4th weekend. Where did June go? Charlie has been busy mowing two yards and taking care of two gardens. The rabbits have been feeding on the lettuce and spinach from our garden, I better get some before they eat it all. Nancy's job has been keeping her very busy. Jackson has been playing baseball, so we have been trying to attend the games. He has three games on Creston on July 4th. Keith, Natasha and Easton will be in Myrtle Beach over the holiday weekend. Charlie and Nancy hope they will be able to travel to Virginia later this month. Ammey, Michael, Jackson and Owen will be on vacation this month. They are going to Port Clinton and have invited Charlie and Nancy to spend a day with them. Maybe I will have some pictures to post later this month. Check back soon.
