Amazing machine

On December 11th, Charlie had his first plasmapharesis treatment at Akron City Hospital.  In total he had 3 treatments and received 54 bags of plasma.  On Sunday they brought the machine to his room and Keith and I was able to watch the procedure.

New Years 2016

On New Years eve Keith, Natasha, Easton and Savena came home to celebrate with us.  Charlie and I have gone to their home to ring in the New Year and celebrate Christmas with them for the last 5+ years.  Ammey and Rod worked to get their basement room ready so they could stay with them.  On Thursday Charlie had an appointment at Akron City Hospital to remove the port in his neck.  That went well and it is healing nicely.  Ammey and Rod did meals on wheels, transporting (3) dinners to our house.  Thursday they brought chili, dips, chips, pretzel dessert and I made Cheeseburger soup.  On Friday they brought Pork, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, roasted brussel sprouts....everything was delicious.  On Saturday, we enjoyed Coccia House pizza.  It was so nice to be together.  Easton challenged everyone that has an electronic device to play Yahtzee.  I can't believe how many Yahtzee's that boy gets.  Savena entertained us with her smiles.

Christmas 2015


We celebrated Christmas Eve with Ammey, Rod, Jackson and Owen.  Ammey made all the dinner and we opened presents.

On Christmas day we skyped with Keith, Natasha, Easton, Savena and Rosina.  We watched the kids open a present we had sent home with Keith, Easton an ipad mini and Savena a snow shovel.  Keith and Natasha opened their new ipad air we got for them.  Later in the day we skyped with the Holt's that was celebrating at Becky's.  We exchanged our gifts and had steak and baked potato for a late lunch early dinner.  Charlie enjoyed eating another apple dumpling Mom Holt made and a small dish of ice cream.
