Once again I have not been good at blogging. I will try to do better.
RECAP since last posting:
On December 13, 2016, Nancy had a right total knee replacement. The surgery and rehap went so good that on March 14, 2017 she had her left knee replaced. It has been a journey, but she is so happy she had them done. On June 11, 2017 she did a 5K at Kelly's Island.
January 3, 2017, Charlie went to the oncologist and he discontinued his chemo treatments. He goes in every 3 months for blood draw and has continued to test with good numbers. In August he had to have radiation on a tumor on his spine that was giving him pain. He had 10 treatments and so far everything has been good.
May 28, 2017 was a double event. Jackson graduated High School and Owen turned 16. Keith, Natasha, Easton and Savena came home to celebrate the events.
June 5 - 9, 2017, Nancy, Charlie, Ammey, Rod, Jackson and Owen went to Myrtle Beach. We had a great time. We ate at Villa Romana one night and enjoyed the company of Rosina, Fran and Rinaldo. We spent one night with Keith and celebrated his birthday.
July 2017, Nancy supported her long-time friend, Sharon as her Mother went to heaven.
August 2017, the fabulous five went to Hocking Hills. Ruth, Sharon, Peg, Diane and Nancy rented a cabin for three nights. It was great to get away for some 'girl time'.
September 2017, Charlie and Nancy went to Hocking Hills for two nights. On the way to Logan we stopped in Granville, OH and walked the streets. We hiked Cedar Falls and Ash Cave the first day and the second day spent 6 hours at Old Man's Cave. We hiked an area we had never been and it was so nice. Charlie got along good as did Nancy.
October 2017, Charlie and Nancy spent 4 nights at Compass Cove in Myrtle Beach, then spent 3 nights on Brush Mountain on our way home. We visited with Fran and Rinaldo on Wednesday morning, then had dinner with Rosina at Villa Romano. We had a great time. The weather was perfect, found some nice shells and sharks teeth and had a full moon while we was there.
October 26, 2017, Charlie and Nancy went to Holden Arboretum in Kirtland. The leaves was peaking and the weather was perfect.
We are creating memories.
