Fire destroys farmhouse

December 7th a chimney fire destroyed the farmhouse in Savannah. The fire and water damage are to extensive and it is beyond repair. Nancy called this home for 16 years. Dad bought the property when he returned home from serving in WWII with the Army. The original structure of the house was a log cabin built in the mid 1800's. We will salvage as much of the original timbers before the house is destroyed. I have a lot of childhood memories that I will always cherish.

Jackson's big day

December 8th - Jackson is 8.
Jackson ask Nana and Papa for Madden 07 for his birthday. With the game was a wireless controller. Jackson was happy to say the least and Ammey says he has been playing it almost non-stop.

Charlie's Truck

After many months of searching for the perfect truck, Charlie bought a truck. It is a Ford F-150 XLT - 4X4. It has a CD player, exterior temperature gauge and more. The one compromise was the size of the bed. With this truck you can not haul a sheet of plywood without having it hang over the tailgate. Other than that, Charlie seems to be very happy with his purchase.
