Fire destroys farmhouse

December 7th a chimney fire destroyed the farmhouse in Savannah. The fire and water damage are to extensive and it is beyond repair. Nancy called this home for 16 years. Dad bought the property when he returned home from serving in WWII with the Army. The original structure of the house was a log cabin built in the mid 1800's. We will salvage as much of the original timbers before the house is destroyed. I have a lot of childhood memories that I will always cherish.
